The former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda grandson, former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy son Nikil Gowda was formally introduced to the media at a posh hotel in Bengaluru on Wednesday morning.

The film ‘Jaguar’ (title acquires from Teshi Venkatesh) introduces Nikil Gowda in three shades. He plays a medical student doing variety of things. The last 20 minutes is a nail biting and edge of the seat film says prominent producer too HD Kumaraswamy introducing his son.

Vijayaprasad father of SS Rajamouli has written the story and this is made in Kannada and Telugu. Mahadev a long time associate of SS Rajamouli who is like ‘Manas Putra’ to Vijayaprasad is making debut in both the languages as director.

HD Kumarawamy producer, exhibitor and distributor has made some quality films in Kannada like Chandra Chakori, Suryavamsha, Premotsava, Jitendra in his cinema career. It is the wish of HDK eight years ago that is fulfilled today. He had clearly told his son to take up acting. I could not fulfill it so I thought of seeing my son as actor. That is happening today. My son is not in to cinema out of any inevitability. He is going to take very good films. The directors mentioned already in the media would come up one by one. We are looking for right heroine to suit both languages. It is Rs.10 t0 Rs.20 crore budget cinema. I know the returns part of cinema very clearly stated HDK.

HD Kumaraswamy former CM welcomed Vijayaprasad again to Kannada cinema after long gap and Mahadev has already put in lot of effort for this film as director recounted HDK.

Vijayaprasad addressing the media stated that at the beginning he thought of making money lending story and screenplay. But his enthusiasm after watching video of Nikil Gowda changed his perception. He told HDK to hand over his son to his team. Nikil Gowda is like uncut diamond. We are sure to make him a ‘Kohinoor’ via Jaguar assures Vijayaprasad. This will be a big block buster he adds.

sections of audience. I should meet the expectations. We are already doing short films related to this film and a few months of effort are already put in for requirements for the film stated Nikil Gowda.

Nikil Gowda film is going on floor on August 2. It will shoot in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It is set for release in next year Pongal or Ugadi festival.

HDK son Nikil is entering cinema at the age of 27 while HDK entered politics at the age of 36.
